If the hair is supposed to be mostly on one side, you need to make it look like it's wrapping around the head, or somehow show that it's longer on one side than the other. Right now it just looks awkward. Undercuts are cool too.

As for the ear, I thought it was probably small on purpose. I'm not saying you need to make it much bigger, I just think it's distracting as it is.
