Sigh... It seems like people are more interested in having a fun experience of commissioning an artist than in just getting a nice picture. I really wasn't expecting that.

Any tips on getting a more likeable personality and doing small talk that isn't an so-awkward-I-want-to-gauge-my-eyes-out shitfest?
I'm worried that my lack of social skills will hurt my wallet sooner or later.
