also notice how you misread the angle of the axis of the elipse. We are looking at the objects from above, the axis of the elipse can never point in such a way that it should be above the Horizon line, in which you will find the vantage points, to which all the red lines should concur. (The horizon line is extremely important.) It will point in such a way if the elipse is at a greater height than our eye, but in this case it's not.
