Start with work of other artists and read an anatomy book, that way you will learn how professionals simplify anatomy in lines, Otherwise if you start directly with real life pics you will get lost and not know how to draw anatomy in an appealing way
After I realized this my figures from imagination improved considerably, I wish I had realized this much sooner
When looking for a drawing by another artist, preferably go for things not rendered like manga pages as they are just lines so it's easier to learn how to simplify anatomy
