Measure. Drawing is a technical skill before it is a creative one. People can sing without knowing how to compose, you can draw without being an artist. Just copy and change things a bit.

Inspiration is a sham. Passion isn't, but it's a descriptor and not a prescriptor. It's a word used for whoever can manage to come back to something day after day working on it for hours on end. Which you will need to get good. At anything. 1 hour per week is nothing. Public school is a sham and you're not good at the piano.

Spend time doing it and keep track of how much time is spent. Like most things in the world and unlike anything in school, 1 hour a week doesn't cut it. You have 24 hours a day, even if you sleep 10 you have 14 left, even with school you have like 6~7 for sure.

Don't worry about anatomy so much. It's more important to get rendering and color and a bunch of other large concepts to low mediocrity to make "finished" pieces so people will look at your stuff. No one cares if your armpits or abs aren't perfect. They'll notice if it's amazing, but they won't notice if it's not, and they won't notice at all it's just lineart or grayscale WIP.

You're going to be unemployed after graduating college. Even if you somehow don't, you're going to eventually wish you built something to show for at the end of the day, and that's not going to come from any "job", much less some videogame.
