Fair criticism, I appreciate it! Yeah, the blending into the disappearing items is terrible, I'll definitely work on that more. My shadows got kinda muddled too, I wasn't sure which colored pencil would really work for the shadows/which combo, at some point I had to kinda accept it as it was. I think the neck kind of got out of shape as I tried to keep a solid line on the outside (to avoid the paper showing through). The ribbon around the jawline got extended in a similar manner.

I can't take credit for the design, it's a poor study(rendition/copy?) of an Ilya Kuvshinov painting. My first time really rendering with colored pencils, was more aiming on working on that side of things.

Looking at it again, a lot got changed and I can see the mistakes. Ah well, it was a fun time and I'm still pretty happy with the result.
