I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying for an illustrated look -mot too realistic, but it's not coming out right. I like the hair, but it doesn't look or feel right. i'm thinking of scrapping it and trying again.

All I'm doing is looking at the photo of john lennon and trying to render it the best i can. I've done better, but I feel like i'm just forcing it to come together
