How do I cope with the fact, not a single artist or illutrator or ARTIST in general, that is alive or died this century.

NOT A SINGLE ONE.
Not even loomis or leyendecker or anyone.

Knows the Why and also the How of composition?

98% of artist don't know even the how, and the 2% that seem to have some idea of the how, like loomis and leyendecker, doesn't know the WHY.

To learn the how, you need to go into architectural books of the renaissance.
To learn the why you need to go into the geometry practiced during greek and egyptian times.
