Ugh. I know how that feels I joined a random art discord and it was full of kids complaining how 'I totally can't draw hands' and they refused to do any life studies.
This is very tinfoil, but I don't think 'I can't draw hands' is real. 'I can't draw hands' is a social virus spread as a relatable meme. Once you see the meme you instantly internalize drawing hands is hard and that in order to be in the cool kids group you shouldn't be able to draw them. If social media didn't exist I think the I can't draw hands complaint would disappear.
