I want to get a job in animation It doesn't have to be at like Disney or anything, but somewhere like Titmouse would be great.

I'm transferring to a really cheap school (I ain't rich) but the closest thing they have to an animation degree is a graphic design degree. If I got in a degree in graphic design, would I still have a chance at getting a job relating to animation if I worked on animation stuff on my own? I mainly just want a degree just to have one. And I'm still unclear, could I try interning for an animation studio if my degree would be graphic design?
