if you get a decent tablet it's never a waste of money. Tablets aren't like paints or whatever, they should last you a long time.

100 bucks will get you a little intuos, but if you think you can save up the money I really recommend saving up for an intuos pro medium or even better, a large. I think it's a lot better for your wrist that way, and the wacom intuos line is pretty dependable
