I dunno anon. I'm not going to search for a ref for you even if that causes the anon above to get a tantrum over me again be I would say that you got to think about the function of the anatomy.

I tried illustrating it in the quick sketch. The arm is attached to the shoulder blade which in turn is attached to the collar bone. When the arm gets pulled back some muscles start stretching while others contract and grow as a result.
