I've never been on a platform more cruel and confusing than reddit. Often times people will downvote me before my posts can take off and it's the only place people will actually insult my art. Yet bewilderingly, 'endearing' beginners and traces make it to the front pages every day. There's also a huge problem with art reposters who just farm karma by posting other people's art all day, it discourages and suppresses original content. Attaching image for reference, I'm not good but I'm definitely not offensively bad.
