Not to word by word >>2662001 but it's essential to understand the importance of fundamentals.

Fundamentals are essentially confidence and understanding on all overall artistic values, it's not just a matter of anatomy. You'll be learning perspective, values, shapes, colors and a lot of basics. The style will just happen, and really if you understand all those you'll be able to draw however you want. You'll understand why something works and where it belongs and then be able to replicate those you like, even better than that. You may even change your taste when you start to understand further.

A good place to start by your sketch is perspective. Learn where objects go in a plane. and situate them, even if it's just shapes. You'll ultimately fuck yourself if you continue forward without at least practicing here and there.
