remember that a human being is made out of lego shapes. learning to draw these lego shapes and putting them together with the right proportion is the most difficult thing in the world, but once you can do that, you've got the whole world as your oyster.

Do this on every single part of the body. Learn to draw heads, then learn to draw torsos, hands, legs, arms, etc. Draw a reference image multiple times, not just once, correcting your mistakes as far as possible. Then do it from memory and try to draw it accurately.
