Here's what I have so far, I drew my own isometric plane and attempted to put shapes onto it. This does not appear to be a large amount of work but it took me over 90 minutes to get these shapes down. Thinking in a manner that is conducive to the grid is challenging, however after a few failures I'm starting to see where a knowledge of geometry would prove quite helpful.

I feel that I can probably get a variety of geometric shapes down at this point. However organic forms are another matter and my attempts at them have not gone well. I will continue to work with it though as this is a new tool and I have yet to figure out all it's workings.

After hand drawing this grid I also searched out isometric grid paper, may I use this in the future or would you prefer that I continue to make my own?
