>It's one of these posts.
I said force myself to LEARN, not enjoy drawing. AGAIN, I do have fun but the things I have fun with don't help me improve. This kind of grinds me gears because it's so presumptuous when I it's pretty obvious I'm talking about learning to get better at painting with brute force and not slowly with passive painting.
Really shows that your automatic reaction to my post was this, especially since all you have to do is simply read what I wrote for you to see your post doesn't apply to anything I wrote.

I also hate the 'if you don't enjoy it it's not meant for you' bullshit. Never fails to make me roll my eyes. Most people don't enjoy it because they suck at it. I'm pretty sure people who want to learn to paint but don't have the will to would be happy to be great. It doesn't account for adults who want to draw but are too ashamed to because their skills are bad. At this point they don't know it's possible to get better. Then they see your post and just drop everything because you want to be whatever you would call the tone of this post. Unintentionally obnoxious, maybe.

An example of this being bullshit would be that I didn't really enjoy drawing much because I had always thought your skill was fixed. Only lately did I find out you could improve that so I did it and now drawing is pretty much the biggest part of my life. The person has to want to do it. Doesn't mean they aren't meant to. Please stop spreading this.

If you think me not wanting to study due to being overwhelmed by the amount of things I need to learn means that I'm not passionate, I honestly have nothing to say to you that isn't insulting.

Thanks man, I guess I see what you mean.

I'm working pretty hard with pencil. Trying to learn everything I can. That might play a part in the reason I procrastinate on painting. I already feel fufilled when drawing in my sketchbook so I don't feel the need to learn to paint.

I'll take his advice and make a schedule.
