Her head is not too small, that's not the problem, the problem is you're rendering when you should be learning form and perspective, the problem is your gesture is stiff and unnatural, I know it seems like she's moving and in a pose but you can see the stiffness and uncanny movement of her legs and torso

Most of non-capeshit western comics is oriented at adults, which limits it's demographical appeal.

But it depends on a country.

Eurofag hihgschoolers might mention quite a few of these, cause they grew up with them and because capeshit comics and manga are not as easily accesible here.
