i figured you were going for 'cute goth girl' mainly so i gave it a shot. there are so many types of lovely goth clothes and clothing subcultures other than hot topic brand stuff, and something with a touch of class/old-fashioned charm will appeal to a lot more to a wider range of people. (american mcgee's alice for example)


then i read your other comments.

what is this character's design supposed to convey, and how could you fail more badly? you write that she is a tryhard okatu with aspirations of being a cool superhero with a strong sense of justice. i got literally none of that from the design. i thought that the artist was tryhard, not that the character was tryhard, mostly because video game females are generally that common denominator and designed by males who assume women's clothing hasn't changed since the 90's and is stuck on by magic
