Dude, anime is about stylization and simplification that is true but what makes it harder is not to change the expression and the face too much. Also since you have a photo reference try to keep the proportions consistent, for example the cleavage line on yours is shorter and I think the shoulders are also thinner.

On the reference the nose faces forwards while on yours it is clearly tilted to the side, while neither the mouth or the eyes follow this rule. Also the nose is a bit small and positioned higher than the ref.

Small details like a curvier smile can help to translate the expression to the anime version. Also take a look at the eyes, while your version is close the left side eye follows the nose tilt and the inner corner is obstructed this is not the case on the ref nor the right side eye. While on the right side eye seems to be looking towards the left instead of forwards and seem to be thinner than the left side eye.

Finally the light of the anime version doesn't really follow the light pictured on the ref, I can see now highlight on the bottom right side of the photo only the left lower side. Try to stick to the ref if you are using it, I know anime eyes are sparkly and shiny but not in a random way.

Here I tried to alter things I mentioned a while not changing it too much, frankly I would have made the eyes smaller in general but that is not for me to decide.

Did this help?
