I feel like I'm really creative when it comes to abstract things like character concepts, but for some reason I feel like I never know what I want to draw.

I get flashes of inspiration every few days when I come up with something 'Good', but in the meantime I just feel kinda bored in a sense. The kind of bored where nothing seems like a good idea, everything's too boring/difficult/similar to something I did last week

I doubt I can find a way of getting inspired more frequently since that's such a nebulous concept, but at the very least I'd like things to be a little easier in the meantime. Am I being too picky with what I choose to draw, or should I work on my ability to come up with solid ideas, compositions, etc? What's a good way of going about this?
