>Try harder.
eh. post your work.
>You use too much water and your layers are thin.
yeah
>You dont load your brush correctly.
no wrong way
>Buying canvas on amazon is trolling yourself.
you should be able to make art with anything. you've been bamboozled by Big Hobby.
>Buy some on the roll and staple it to a fucking board if you have to
thinking I may switch to painting on wood as a goof. Or animal hide.
>Premades are shit even for hobbyists like you.
challenge accepted. You keep leaning on your crutches.
>Not cleaning your brushes makes me sad but rember that those stiff peice of shit wont see the light of day.
I mean I do paint predominantly inside and at night, so you're not incorrect.
>Don't know your faggot movie.
lol I remember being an edgy child. Are you allowed to be here? Why haven't you been educated?
>I mean you have no tonal range?
Its a monochromatic piece using still frames from a famously well lit black and white movie. I dont think its perfect, and btw I dont think it should be perfect (wabi sabi brah), but there's a fair amount of tonal range considering the painting was made solely with black paint.
>How hard is that to understand.
I'm literally asking you that right now. It's like you're repeating something your art teacher said last week.
>It's either black black or a smudge grey.
got me!
>I dident even mention your not a painter just a half arsed copymachine.
Well I was probably a better draughtsman 15 years ago than you are now. I'm not flexing my "look at how well I can draw" nuts because I'm already kind of comfortable there and I'm pushing myself to do something different. I like the aesthetic of taking the exact image and fucking it up with paint. How triggered do you get by printmakers?
At this point I mostly keep doing graphite transfers because I like how much it triggers he chidrens at /ic/

>second painting. made immediately after getting back from theater.
