Jed: A wonder to see the author awaken from the abyss to delight us with Jed. A character that never ceases to surprise.
In my mind, the author was a pretty cool idea guy up to that recruitment point, then ????, then he became a crab Champion. Kind of like finishing after a month of NoFap. A Glory speedrunner.
It was the moment he joined that I knew this wasn't a joke anymore and that I had to get my shit together. After all, the GM was Jed's prey, kek.
I knew he was going to stand firm and indirectly help the Chads (and me) with the management. And, although he didn't participate directly in /crab/1, I suspect he knows too much anyways and anticipates at least 1/24 of my moves, which is more than anyone else in the world. Performed better than expected. His r3 entry is one of my favorites in the tournament.

Boberon: One of Chads' unsung heroes. I knew the author was one of the most skilled and daring in the tournament, but it was still hard to gauge whether he was going to deliver or disappoint. As the author had an accident in which he broke all his bones and suffered total organ destruction, we feared that he was not going to be up to the level of his team after Stage 1. Then after R2 he woke up from the coma and, out of pity, I assigned him a user who was also in a coma, Clown girl. I didn't expect anything from either of them, but they both surprised me. Boberon came out of the regeneration chamber and learned to animate with the foot that healed first to get there in time to sweep the floor with Clown girl, not bad. A shame his infernal title and daring fell by the wayside. Performed slightly worse than expected.
