>I said I was okay with non-English examples; please link them or stop talking.
Then im done after this, faggot.
>it's super accessible not just for fans but also for aspiring comic artists. You're telling me that its manga counterpart is neither of those things?
Thats not what I said at all. You dont need screenwriting to be accessible. Your inability to entertain this notion is asinine.
>You're avoiding the question again. I want to learn about the different ways mangaka organize their pre-production efforts. I want to know why many of them seemingly don't bother with screenwriting compared to the west (you know, besides some non-answer like "they just don't feel the need to"). I want to cut through that romanticized image of the artist-author, and get to the gritty details.
Im not avoiding anything you mongoloid, there's a different standard, and every single mangaka has their own conventions, and you arent going to find anything that tells you how each and every single one does their thing. I told you the exact reason and you refuse to accept it, fuck off
>How exactly are the names edited, then?
Are you stupid? They roughly draw out the whole chapter; they use placeholders for characters or draw them simply, get the rough panel layout down, and add dialogue. Take any manga page and imagine it drawn as simply as possible and apply that to the whole chapter, thats all the fucking name is. The editor will then say, "oh, this isnt clear enough", "this dialogue is clunky", "this type of angle or view would work better" This isnt fucking difficult to understand, you spaz.
>I almost wish they focused more on all of the nameless assistants working alongside instead of the mangaka themselves.
All they do is draw backgrounds, unimportant characters, ink trivial shit, and apply tone. They're important, but only to a point. For someone that claims to have watch a lot Manben, you know fuck all about how they do anything

>But copying actually requires essentially no critical thought.
Look here dipshit, There's two equal aspects to copying:
-Physically making the marks
-Thinking critically to understand why the marks were made/the way they were made

Im not saying the actual, physical process requires massive amounts of thought. What im saying is, you shouldnt be focused on that, you need to be thinking about what it is youre doing and why youre doing it which is far more important and takes far more thought. Its two sides of the same coin; physically doing the copy, and trying to break down and restructure the process from the work youre copying, which is what ive been saying, and what youve been failing to understand.

Have i made it simple enough for you to get yet? Do i need to get some puppets to help further illustrate this concept for you?

> I think you're reading too much into this, that or your reading comprehension just doesn't exists.
I perfectly understand what you morons are belting out, i just disagree with it. You cant separate the two facets of a master study.

>and lastly, ink trains you to get shit right in the first place
When will this meme end? ink isn't some magical phenomenon that forces you to not fuck up, its being assiduous in your mark making, which can be done with any medium, so long as you arent a drooling retard. Treat your marks like you've only got one shot with them, and congrats! You're going to start trying to get them right the first time.
