They all have pretty much the same face.
You're symbol drawing. I suggest looking at and drawing some different faces and look how seasoned artist draw them.
When drawing with only black lines, it is easy to overemphasize parts of the subject, which makes it look weird. Since there are no lines in the real world, we really see in tones, there is a lot of simplification, but also interpretation in a line drawing. If you mess around with drawing filters in photoshop, you'll see that some parts or features disappear while others get more pronounced, but it all happens proportionally. You could get away with a harsh laugh line for example, when the rest matches in detail or the lighting situtation. But mostly it would be too soft a feature to be represented in a simple drawing. Same with drawing individual teeth. A white bar will usually look better.
You're breaking the illusion when you draw a harsh line for something that really is a soft transition, like the hairline. The human brain fills out suggested lines, which can be used to indicate a softer transition. Closed lines seperate an object from its surrounding/ background or indicate a hard transition. A transition happens between different objects, forms overlapping, textures or materials, light and shadow. Lineweight can further be used to enhance the detail or realism.
As for lips, a quick tip for more natural looking lips is to not close the outline, especially of the lower lip. If you look at some faces, you'll notice how there's a very smooth transition between the outer lips and the face.
pic is some nice face drawings. also an example how for manly faces, there can be used lines in the face that shows a more chiseled bone structure.
