mainly here for feedback.

originally planned for her to be in a DnD style universe with this backstory: traveling merchant goblin girl who doesn't have much money and only survives off what she can find and sell, though refuses to steal. Her clothes are stitched together from rags and plants. Her appearance and race make people distrust her regardless, which makes business harder than it already is, so she goes it alone.

i'm not a big DND fan so i'm not certain yet what to do.
put her in a human world where mythical creatures are supposed to stay hidden from humans?
put her in a world where all races live together harmoniously?
make her an idiot shut-in who accidentally makes a fool of herself with her awkwardness and social reclusiveness?
dunno.
