In all likelihood if there is a god and/or gods the probably don't care much about us. Religion is human-centric by nature, not god-centric, regardless of what the proponents like to claim. Christianity would have you believe humanity is important enough that god would die for them(sort of but not really mmmkay?), but if you dare to question why it's 'shut the fuck up, ineffable plan," as if God concocted a ruse so complicated even he couldn't explain it.
