Despite asking for more money for clean raw, the Chinese uploaders didn't stop uploading the bordered scans to e-hentai, believing they will still get new buyers in their site.

Some English scanlation groups want more profit so they just used the Chinese bordered/watermarked uploads and CENSORED the Chinese name of the watermark. This enraged the nationalists chinese for some reason.

They started putting e-hentai and exhentai in their watermarks, and reported the site directly to Japanese companies that e-hentai is the source of all the pirated scans. Also Kantai collection doujinshi uploads became target for Chinese shit posters for some reason.

Since nything inside mainlad China is protected by the Chinese Government, so all the Japanese DMCA are ignored and not honored by China.

Japanese companies sent DMCA to all hentai website as good measure, most of hentai websites went down. My website went down. Fakku somehow got parterned with one of the Japanese companies called Wani. E-hentai was allowed to continue if they followed Wani demands of what not to upload.

Also FAKKU's newly official status, started DMCAing e-hentai for all the Wani content uploaded in the site ever since it's founding 2007. Wani apparently also prints artbooks. This enraged /h/ and prompted the new .

Then in 2018 or 2019, the country e-hentai servers where located in banned drawn pornography so they announced closing. So artbook uploaders had to increased sites to upload to, they discovered archive.org.

I'm pretty sure they are already looking for other sites, because of the recent news of Internet Archive being a target of a new lawsuit.
