if it can do that, then it means it's just that good. but as long as it can't do that, you will be consuming human art, even if it's AI assisted.
and what people here don't understand is what that really means or looks like.

most people here think being "AI assisted" means artists being akin to a barnacle stuck to the creative might of AI.
but what it really is, is getting an expert assistant.
so if you don't have any vision or skills, then the assistent will overpower you in your cluelessness, in fact your input might only make things worse whenever you give it.

but if you do have the skills, you can do incredible things together with that assistant.
it's like having your favorite artists your fingertips, and you can always ask them for advice on color, values, details, composition and everything else. it will never complain and you can also disregard everything it says or make it slave away at menial tasks for you.

if anything, AI will massively enhance human creativity.
even for stories, just talking to GPT4 is like having a skilled editor you can ask for feedback, advice and opinions. image AI are the same, except they give you visual feedback (for example going through a dozen color palettes in seconds).
all these AI will help you think through ideas much faster.
i honestly can't wait to see what people will truly be capable of with the help of AI.
