There's already stuff out there for this purpose that is designed to ease the coloring aspect of animation, and specific frame tweener AI systems have been in use for a good while. if you look at some episodes of Invincible you'll notice some kinda "Off" movements. alot of that is because they didn't have time to do enough keyframes, so the tweener does things alot more linearly than usual.

It's kinda weird how upsetti spaghetti everyone is getting about this. even as an artist that learned to do things the hard way, I pretty much pull whatever tools into I can into my workflow that make sense.
That doesn't mean I plan to wholesale use AI generation, but I find it's ability to generate things very interesting as a stopgap when I can't get a silhouette idea.
