>Your pieces look flat
again, hundreds of pieces. Critique that is actually useful would be to highlight a specific one to use as an example? I'm well aware that a ton of them are flat because most of them are a few layers away from being done. And generally the last layers people do are whites and shadows.
>and the colors are muddy
definitely.
> you also said that you dont do under drawings which is a big part of why they look flat
wtf? I said I HAVEN'T done an underdrawing on like 3 paintings as an experiment. I do a ton of underdrawing and a lot of the series has been a process of exploring how to put an digital image onto canvas. >>3510289 was hand drawn on canvas yesterday.
>which is a big part of why they look flat
Eh they look flat because a lot of them don't have highlights and shadows and contrast.
> learn how to shade and learn how to mix colors
I know to shade. If you have any suggestions for mixing acrylic I'm all ears. Currently spearminting with mixing in varnish and/or retarder and/or matte gel to get different textures and junk. And I stopped misusing water and black and started misusing white because of a tool song.
>just blindly copying photographs wont help much.
I've actively post unfinished shit soliciting advice on /ic/ since the start. This is a series of paintings that were entirely made from and about 4chan. If you take issue with the subject matter, it's all solicited from /tv/. If you take issue with my grasp of "the fundamentals," it's as much an indictment of the cancerous assholes on /ic/ as it is me. I've been soliciting critique and criticism like every month here since the beginning and and have exclusively been told to kill myself or quit every time with zero practical suggestions for things to try.

I've gotten better useable advice from /pol/sters than from you stupid assholes. They're supposed to look ugly and wrong because they're a reflection of (you).
