At first I felt like, only Japanese artists are successful, and that your shit will never sell like actual Japanese series, American comics don't sell and people don't give a shit about non-Japanese artists and what not... Then I saw that Japanese animators are treated like cheap slave labor and that they get paid way bellow min wage and that studios complain about not being able to step outside of their waifu loli box because of it's only the fucking otakus that buy their shit, and drawing Manga is about the same, the least place you want to be an artist is oddly enough in Japan, the literal fan artists drawing COOM art of anime waifus as fucking fan art on the internet are out-earning the actual Japanese professionals that made these franchises in the first place; I used to envy the Japanese but I learned the truth, now I pity them.
