A "talisman" is typically misconstrued as a "magical" sort of trinket, amulet/ crafted art what have you that has some special powers enchanted into it. The truth is more esoteric, but has nothing to do with magic nor do these trinkets "do" anything in and of themselves. It's a focusing device used to expand your mental comprehension to....whatever the talisman refers to and how it relates to you.

For some people it's a cross and Jesus, for others it's videogame anthros and furry pornography.

Much like how an "antenna/satellite dish", or an internet cable doesn't do anything in and of itself. But when you focus these talismans..these solidified rocks and metal they will transmit yours and otherss ideas faster than any casted bronze statue. Tell someone 2000 years ago these truths and:

is what they would say. There's a reason so many artists are drama filled degenerates. Their path to hell is drawn with good intentions.
