Bought Steve's book. Going through the first chapter on figure drawing basic facial outlines and body parts. Can't quite make his > draw a triangle, place the ear, add form approach. Look up Loomis method, within fifteen minutes make a fully featured face that actually looks right. Placing two circles is way less ambiguous than building an entire cranium around an ear like in Huston.

Been struggling with most of Huston's approaches to simplification, think I'll just start adopting Loomis' techniques as I'm going through the book.
