Saying you'll do something later is equivalent to saying you'll never do it.
If you have access to a balcony you can start growing a variety of trees in pots (even fruits trees: apple, cherry, lemon,...). If you got the privilege of having a backyard it's even easier. Seeds cost fuckall in gardening stores.
If you're lacking in spaces or resources or want to do it robin hood hobo style you can start planting trees right now for free, as long as the ground isn't frozen solid you can do that, go outside in a park to draw trees and while you're there pick up a bunch of fallen chestnuts or whatnot and discreetly plant em someplace where people won't trample over them.
Let the trees grow alongside you, don't wait.
