I'm going to be honest. I care DEEPLY about social media engagement when it comes to my art. As far as I'm concerned, if my work doesn't get enough likes, it's bad art.

Yes, I draw for followers
Yes, I draw for approval and validation
Why the fuck else would I even bother posting anything online?

Has anyone else given up trying to gitgud?
I honestly can't stand doing loomis heads and cubes anymore. I have accepted that I will never "make it" and instead just draw my shitty art.

Art is the only thing I enjoy doing. I have a worthless graphic design degree and every retail job I've had has ended badly.

Trying to copy bridgman but fucking hell. I don't have the attention span for art books. I hoard a shitton of them and can't focus on one for longer than a week before I get bored/frustrated. I've been doodling all my life for fun and want to improve but studying is honestly draining. I feel like giving up.

I honestly don't care. I'm a talentless /beg/ who, for years, has seen big artists on twatter jerk each other off. Seeing fags here brag. I may not ever reach their skill (I'd have to play decades worth of "catch up" for that if lucky) but I can watch their hard work, their grinding, and their careers/commissions go up in flames.

I fucking despise my own art and see no point in continuing. Every time I draw I cringe. I can't take it anymore. I'm 28 and draw like a 10 year old. Worst part is that I have been drawing my whole life. My attention span and discipline is too shit to grind constantly. Everyday I go on Twitter and see people my age or even younger drawing significantly better, My only friend is going to move away soon. Last part isn't connected.
Should I just fucking quit?
