I think its just when someone enjoys drawing certain things it comes off fairly well in their art, its a bunch of small things but it just comes together for an enjoyable piece of art.

When someone isn't particularly interested, they're just using pure technical skill, and while it might visually look nice, it will always seem like there's just something missing. That's why its soulless, its just missing that enjoyment and background that someone who enjoys drawing those things would have.

Its why people always post loli artists for soul, because loli artists are disgusting pedophiles who have turned to art in order to live out their fantasies. While they are disgusting and deplorable human beings with barely a right to live, they at least have the ability to put soul in their art.
