Hey can someone show me what books to read/study so I can master how to do poses like pic-related? I see a lot of people who draw these doll-like bodies with no faces, and they have a X to help you figure out where the eyes and mouth go. I even read books that use them as an example. but what I need to do is figure out the proportions.

How wide should the head be in comparison to its height? How does the doll-like body work? (Is it that 8 head shit?) I'm trying to figure out what resources people are using to figure out these dimensions, if there's a good book that tells you about the eye placement and so on.

My goal is just being to able to draw these blank dolls in a hundred different poses.
