Looks great, good to see you're working on something that matters, but DON'T FORGET YOUR CORE SHADOW!

Core shadow is the spot with the least direct light, and the least reflected light. You can visualize it as the "edge" of the shadow and it's the most important part, because how dark / how soft you make it tells the viewers eye everything about the light on the object.

Also... don't forget occlusion, it's the tight pinch between an object (sphere) and another object (table) that are touching - its the spot where a light ray is least likely to bounce and end up (notice I darkened right under the sphere).
