I've been reading Keys to drawing and Drawing from the right side of the brain.

I've already done 4 exercises from KTD but It doesn't feel like I'm going anywhere, I know learning art is all about mileage and patience but these books give me a headache when I read them plus pic related doesn't really clear it up for me.
