Since there's other first timers coming out I'm also gonna ask for some day 1 feedback
Much like >>2531624 I'm also a 23 year old looking for a new thing to do in life.

My drawing experience comes from back when I was 12-14 where drawing was actually a thing in class, and a few years ago when I did an engineering course for 2 years I learned some perspective drawing and scale drawing. Though I feel like I've lost most of it.

On top of that a friend of mine told me a bit ago that instead of instantly jumping into Loomis I should instead try drawing something from imagination and then fix it using reference afterwards. But that seems like a very big leap compared to what I'm doing now.

On the subject of Fun with a Pencil, just started with it myself after working through keys to drawing. No wonder everyone advises Loomis' books, they're rather easy to follow. Still needs some (a lot) of work but I'm not gonna falter
