It's not good for that either I think
The only issue I see with AI is the lack of control.
It spits out finished shit and the only way to influence the result is verbally, which is a dumb way to approach it if you're a visual artist trying to create visual things. Even the img to img ones suffer from similar issues, only being able to take compositional elements but still giving you little control of the actual form and lightning.
An AI actually aimed to help artists would be one that helps you as you draw, be it being able to generate a rotation of a certain part, stripping away or creating lighning, correcting perspective etc
As it stands now it's worthless to artists that actually have a creative identity and a clear vision for what they want to create.
