How do I tell the difference between this and "contour drawing" when I'm doing my own exercises? It's not like he is drawing a skeleton ahead of time, or following the flow of the line before he fills in the form. He just constructs the body one body part at a time in a quick fashion. I feel there's more to the choices he's making but how am I supposed to identify them?
