Going a similar route, drawing some Bruce Timm style stuff atm.

Turns out Anime is *possible* derived from the head formula used by disney.
So get to grips with that formula etc and you will have the range for all western styles and most anime ones.

Very interesting turn of events.

Everything else is simplification, emphasizing form with minimal lines/ hints etc.
