How do you make characters look appealing?
I'm so frustrated because every character I fucking make is so ugly and it just kills my soul, I try all the fucking guides and tutorials, I draw things for fun and it just frustrates me because I'm apparently supposed to know intuitively how to make good looking characters or whatever. I hate that nothing i make looks good except for stupid landscapes and Xerox-tier portraits. It's so stupid. And then I see people making characters that look actually decent and in proportion and obviously done with care, and I see my page and it's all full of ugly scribbles that drive home how I have no talent for design and how after a year I'm still stuck doing ugly sketches and I just want to toss my things in the garbage. I don't get it at all. Sorry for sounding like such a defeatist

What is the worst tutorial/course you have ever got? And why.

It infuriates me how arrogant this board can be, how Manu of you here can draw shit from imagination? I'm sure you cant even vomit a simple manequin ir animu girl without a ref, and i'm not defending proko, but bashing him for not being good at drawing from imagination and calling his courses shit just because of that, ir shows the intelectual level of this place, you have yo he fucking retarded to think that way, draw from imagination is an aquired skill, that is you don't use it ir Will be weak as any other skill, i'm sure ir proko practices he could do just fines drawing from imagination.
