It's not a cope, retard, it's reality. Being smart makes you lazy, because as a kid you don't need to work hard in order to achieve the same things that your peers have to struggle a lot for.

Then, when life actually becomes challenging, you have wasted years being "ahead" and hasn't learned how to deal with difficult obstacles, whereas the dumb ones are already used to putting in the hours and struggling, so they are able to eventually surmount it, while you're stuck on "woe is me".

The way to prevent this is to keep challenging your smart kids, do not let them get complacent.
But if you're a grown man with already bad habits, fixing it takes a good amount of effort, which I am trying to do.

Imagine you enjoy playing a game, but 50% of the userbase likes to play that game while high.
Having a separate server for people who are high would be a big blessing for the non-junkies, and that's how this thread helps the normal OC Thread.

That is not to say either threads are good, full of tumblrina tranny OCs that keep me from drawing most of the time.

Perfect post. Art challenges are the only way for me to produce anything, leave me to my own devices and I'll "grind" to death.
I put quotes because the dread of too much to learn will just make me not draw that much anyway, making my skill even less compatible with the level I desire for myself.
