The first thing that was mentioned, and repeatedly, I might add, was how ugly the site looked after the first big visual overhaul. I'm aware of it. I'm thinking on how to tackle it.
On some of your other grievances, you may not want to 'babysit' me, but saying something is 'bad' is barely usable information. It's like art critique. What's specifically bad? Unspecified, you're going to have me chase some arbitrary notion of 'improvement' which even big companies fuck up in the process. What do you WANT? What do you NEED? That will actually help development move faster and move site discussion into more specific and meaningful discussion. You can clearly express your needs like a big boy, can't you?
This is the first production website I built from scratch. The bottom line principle of things is that we set up mininum-functionality working protoypes and expand features from there. For instance, if I waited until I had completed a flawless comment or challenge system from appearance to functionality, it's going to take a shit ton of time to come out. But you guys want comments on things, so we have them now, in primitive capacity. There are going to be bumps along the way. I have an eventful personal life, a job and art ambitions I'm spending even more time on now. There will be gaps between feature releases. But they ARE coming, and I read all grievances regardless of level of vitriol in their delivery. So please be patient, won't you? ;)
