I have been meaning to draw the other two characters and until I was done this thread is not allow to drop off... although I am not entirely sure if i'll actually finish it

its weird someone as seemingly competent as he is has not perform some sort of aesthetic analysis to break down elements of their respective art style to reproduce them properly. While I think some of the design he chose was too complex for children to instruct in such form, maybe they should have chosen better examples, and there should be plenty, maybe this is just boiling down to lack of research.

This was done in early 00s when anime was the hip new thing and maybe they were just rushing this out of the market, in some ways I actually kind of appreciate product of such viral quality, it really shows the cultural zeitgeist at the time.
