this is weird because it looks so much cooler when you zoom in, usually it's the other way around. I like the shape of the legs a lot. Also like the skull on her chest. One negative thing is that the way both feet are aligned is flattening the image, her left foot should be closer to the camera and therefore lower down on the page compared to the other foot.

this is cute, I think you could get away with cel shading for that style, you could try that while you figure out shading with soft brushes. Also the way I think about shadow colors is that you should either do warm light/cool shadows or warm shadows/cool light, you have both warm and it looks dull.
