seriously, theres a guy i have on my fb (met him in person on the odd night out) and he does all these drawings that make no sense. people love it say its soooo deep and must be cryptic and everything but its stupid. its pretentious and just bad to look at. hes so proud of what he does but its so lame and just false. ok sure it's really well detailed but seriously. its so forced. the guys trying too hard to be different and alternative. Pic related. so, does anyone else know someone personally who makes art that is just crap but the artist themselves dont see it? id love to hear some stories about artfags and look at their shitty work that theyre so proud off.

I cant draw myself but i always come to /ic/ as i love art but i hate pompus idiots that are so up their own asses and treat people like shit because they think their art is so good.

not really self promoting as its not my work but, i'm enjoying this thread and it seems to be dying and i don't want that to happen. there's a guy on my friends list on facebook and he seriously thinks he's the best thing that's ever happened to art. he's a total moron. his art looks like shit. it's just stupid to look at and quite frankly, he's a dick. i'm quite a regular on this page not for posting my own drawings but to look at other peoples art. and i know his kind of art is the kind you would all really make fun of for being too pompus and pretentious. seriously i fucking hate the guy. what do you honestly make of this?
